About Verve & Concord

Hi! I’m Lisa Johnson, the founder, brand designer and graphic designer behind Verve & Concord.

Years ago, my parents immigrated to the U.S. to create their own American dream. I grew up witnessing my parents’ passion for their work, their relentless discipline, and their entrepreneurial drive. All that has led them to running a successful company doing exactly what they love and leading a wildly fulfilled life. Their passion and drive inspired me to pursue a similar path in which I use the skills and talents I’ve been blessed with to help others, so they can also achieve their American dreams.

After accumulating over 7 years of journalism and video production experience, plus over 10 years of branding and design experience, the pull toward paving my own path as a solopreneur has taken me here! I started Verve & Concord to bring all those years of learning in school, internships and jobs together to help you tell your business’ story.

And it starts with you. Empathy is one of my superpowers. Honestly, I believe I was born with it and have been able to cultivate it over time. My most important power tool is to ask questions to get to know you—and therefore your business—better. I dig into who you are, what you believe in, and why you exist. And I use that to develop the best ways to connect with your audiences through a strategically crafted visual identity.
